Track Car Rental - NC Mazda Miata

Fee Info:

Rental is based on a weekend rental cost (see below), plus actual mileage to the track it's being rented for, at a cost of $1 per mile (round trip)

Please also note that we work with Hooked On Driving Mid-Atlantic and give a 50% discount on the mileage fee for rentals at their events - You can view their schedule here

All fees include tax

• Single Day - $750
• 2 day discount - $1250 (default price shown on this page, email if you need single or 3+ days)
• Additional days on-top of 2-day rate - $450 per additional day

What's included with the rental fee?

• Delivery and Pick-Up of the car
• Walk-thru and setup of the car for your needs
• Fuel for the entire rental period
• All consumables (assuming normal wear)
• All data and video capture from your sessions or coach's sessions in the car (see below for data capture info)
• 50% Discount on your registration at Hooked On Driving Mid-Atlantic events**

Optional Add-Ons

• Data coaching on-site (in paddocks, not in-car) - $250
• In-Car coaching (if the event permits it, check schedule for SCR attended events, and check with the event organizer otherwise) - $500 ($150 discount!)
  
  • Additional discount available at Hooked on Driving Mid-Atlantic/Northeast events
• Request specific tires or brake pads (cost varies, email us)
• Track-side support/labor for any adjustments to the car or suspension changes  desired - $200/day
• RV or Trailer with HVAC to sleep in for the weekend - $225 (same cost for single day or multi-day, up to 4 days)
• Please note that if you have no prior track experience, in-car coaching is required by SCR and most track day organizations as well

What do I need to provide besides the rental fee?

• If you're doing more than a single day, you'll need to figure out lodging accommodations (or rent the RV/Trailer as mentioned about), reach out to us if you need assistance - We've been to most tracks before and know what hotels/lodging are preferred.
• Appropriate safety gear based on the event organizer's and track's policies - At minimum a helmet, HANS device, long pants, and closed toe shoes. -Please reach out to us if you have concerns on this - We can not only check with the organization/track but also we sell this equipment and will provide it at our cost for anyone renting a vehicle from us - Some organizations/tracks will require a fire suit with a car that has a roll cage (as this car does)
  • We can sell you a helmet and/or HANS device at a discount as part of the rental
  • We also rent HANS Devices- please note, we do not rent helmets (but Hooked on Driving does if you come to one of their events)
    

What type of events can I use the car for? 

• Any HPDE or Track day, instructor schools like MSF or NASA

Also legal for specific competitions (Time Trial/Time Attack/Autocross)

• Legal for the following NASA classes/run groups - TT5, HPDE 1-4/track day
  • Small upcharge for competition events
• Legal for the following SCCA classes: tuner 4 and HPDE/track day/track event

• Legal for C Street Autocross
